A THIRD man was today being quizzed by detectives after being arrested in connection with the murder of popular Newport father of three Lemy Bullock.
Mr Bullock, 36, from the Pill area of the city, died at the Royal Gwent Hospital after an incident in Harvey's pub, Commercial Road, late last Tuesday night.
The man was arrested yesterday, police said.
Two men who were charged with Mr Bullock's murder on Friday night appeared in court yesterday.
Martin Bruce, 38, from Courtybella Gardens, Pill, Newport, and Mohammed bin Hammod Nasser, 43, of Pill, Newport, were remanded in custody at Newport magistrates court.
They are now due to appear before the city's crown court on April 1.
As well as being charged with Mr Bullock's murder they are also accused of committing burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
Mr Bullock's death has sent shockwaves through the close-knit community of Pill.
More than 100 floral tributes were laid outside the pub where Mr Bullock was found fatally injured yards from his home in Dolphin Court.
Many of the tributes bore moving eulogies to Mr Bullock, who has two sons, aged 14 and five, and a ten-year-old daughter.
Among the flowers was a Newport County football shirt for the Liverpool supporter.
A message on the jersey read: "RIP Lemster. You will be sadly missed. True Pill boy forever."
