TWO men were last night charged with the murder of Newport man Lemy Bullock.

The pair, who both come from Newport, are due to appear in magistrates court today.

Detectives say they are looking for a third man they want to question in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, more than 100 floral tributes have been laid at the site where Mr Bullock was found fatally injured with stab wounds on Tuesday night.

Mr Bullock, 36, died in hospital after sustaining injuries at Harvey's bar in Pill.

His death has sent shock waves through the close-knit community of Pill.

As the police investigation into the death of Mr Bullock, from Dolphin Court, Pill, continued last night more people left floral tributes at the scene of his death.

More than 100 bouquets of flowers, a Welsh flag and a Newport County football shirt have been placed outside the pub.

A message on the football jersey read: "RIP Lemster. You will be sadly missed. True Pill boy forever."

There were many moving eulogies left on bouquets of flowers. "Will be missed. Heaven will be a happier place now cos you'll have them all laughing. Sleep peacefully Lem," read one.

Mr Bullock, who has two sons, aged 14 and five, and a ten-year-old daughter, died in Newport's Royal Gwent Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Yesterday later editions of the Argus exclusively revealed how firefighters helping with the inquiry into his death found a sword on the banks of the River Usk.

A spokeswoman from South Wales Fire Service said they were called by the police just before 10am to assist with its recovery at the rear of Castle Bingo under George Street Bridge.

Firefighters retrieved the sword from the mud flats in a rescue boat from Maindee fire station.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
