NEWPORT Gwent Dragons intend spoiling a possible party at Swansea tonight.
If Celtic League leaders Neath Swansea Ospreys beat them and Munster fail to earn a point against Ulster, the Ospreys will be crowned champions.
"They are in primary position in the league and know that a win against us will almost certainly secure the league title depending on other results, so the pressure is all on them," said Dragons coach Chris Anderson.
"We are going there to spoil the party and we want to secure our first away win of 2005.
"We are now third in the table and we want to maintain that. We are nearing the goal of a home draw in the Celtic Cup and we have to keep winning to maintain the pressure on Munster and the Ospreys."
Vice-captain and scrum half Gareth Baber said: "The Ospreys have tremendous strength in depth which is one of the reasons they are top of the league.
"They have played consistently well with some tremendous attacking rugby. Last time out they won a difficult match at Donnybrook against Leinster and they have tremendous self belief.
"Scrum half Jason Spice is an immense player, the ideal link, a sniping runner and a threat from anywhere on the field, especially from the base of the scrum.
"They have a dangerous backline, but we can't concentrate too much on the Ospreys and we have to play our own game. Defence will be the key and we have to be resolute."
The Dragons are able to include Wales lock Ian Gough, who has just signed a two-year extension to his contract.
"I'm enjoying my rugby with the Dragons and am delighted to sign a new contract," he said. "There is tremendous team spirit, the team are keen to achieve and perform in the Celtic League and Heineken Cup and I want to be part of the team's ambitions and play a role in helping the team achieve and challenge for silverware."
Bryn Griffiths, a former Wales Under-21s lock, will add to the Dragons forward strength after signing from Llanelli Scarlets for two years.
"I'm excited about joining them and being part of a fantastic squad," he said. "The set-up is excellent and I'm looking forward to being a part of the team, developing my rugby and challenging for a place in the starting line-up."
