PEOPLE in Gwent are going Comic Relief crazy.
From bush tucker trials, dogs with wigs to fun runs, everyone in Gwent is getting behind the Red Nose cause.
Workers at Hasbro in Newport were busy fundraising all week.
Managers at the centre took part in a bush tucker trial challenge.
The stint saw them devouring dog food, cat food and seafood dipped in custard, cow's tongues, intestines and lungs.
Around 20 workers squeezed into a giant pair of pants made by Lucy Emanuell, of customer accounts, and everyone wore fancy dress, sported red hair and held raffles and other events.
Liz Hancock, community affairs officer, said: "It's fantastic, everyone took part and had fun, there was red galore! So far we have raised at least 1,500."
Centre manager John Fairlie, who took part in the bush tucker trial, said: "Hasbro's motto is making the world smile, red nose day is about having some fun and raising money for a brilliant cause."
It's not just people taking part in the fundraiser - a furry friend from the RSPCA in Newport donned a wig all in aid of the cause.
Animal care assistant Amy Holmes and Gwillwm the Wolfhound Cross got into the spirit with their'bad hair days'.
Judith Haw, spokeswoman for the RSPCA, said: "It is such a worthy cause and the staff wanted to get involved and raise well-deserved funds."
There was music, mayhem and a giant conga line in Blackwood when the Y Coed Duon pub in High Street kicked off a full-day celebration.
