WALES Millennium Centre, the world-class performing arts centre in Cardiff Bay, will host the lovable duo Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and their friends from March 15 to 20 in Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh.

In honour of Tigger's special visit to Cardiff, Judith Isherwood, the chief executive of the Wales Millennium Centre helped him rename Tiger Bay as 'Tigger Bay'.

The children from Acorn Nursery in Cardiff were also on hand to meet the famous friends and be part of the fun at the new centre.

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger also visited a local school to help the children plant their own Hundred Acre Wood as part of the Woodland Trust's Tree For All programme.

Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh is a brand new live stage production featuring Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and the whole gang from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Children and adults alike will be delighted by the musical production numbers, elaborate set design, and the interactivity throughout the show. Children will be encouraged to bounce around, sing along and will be swept away on an imaginative musical journey.

Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh runs for 11 performances from March 15 to 20.

Tickets are now on sale and are available to buy by calling 08700 402000, online at www.wmc.org.uk or in person at the Wales Millennium Centre Box Office.
