IT'S all happening at the Revolution Bar in Griffin Street, Newport, where there are only 42 days left to enjoy the great pint-sized Vodka Festival.
For an hour every evening between 6pm and 7pm you can sample six specially-created vodka cocktails created by this company which, incidentally, has its own Vodka factory!
The six festival cocktails are: Absolute Berry T' Breeze, Iced Bounty, Honey Berry Sour, Stoli Alexander, Bison Grass Mojito and Finlandia Mango Mule.
While these are just £4.50, the Absolute Bees Knees Pitcher with Absolut Raspberri and Krupnik Vodka, shaken with fresh raspberries and lengthened with cloudy apple juice, elderflower and soda, will cost £13. But what a group drink!
And with the Festival well under way there's chance here on this page to win a £100 bar tab.
Just answer the question in our competition on page 13 correctly and you could be saying to a bar person, "put that on my tab!".
Just as important and in tandem with the Vodka Festival, Revolution's management is organising a DJ Academy over the next few weeks, principally on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Deputy manager Alex Drummond said: "There are loads of budding DJs out there and this is their chance to come aboard and learn about record selection and, indeed, the complexity of the whole business."
The academy will be run for intermediate and advanced DJs and will cost £80 and that includes six days of theory and practical work.
Star DJs such as Shai from The Secret Garden and Dave Mills from FM Radio will be on hand telling budding DJs the secrets of their success. Revolution's wake up call doesn't stop there.
Wednesdays see the launch of the bar's House Party, a students' night out with DJ Richie Hart from Creation playing Funky House R&B and the latest commercial hits.
There are massive discounts on drinks so, put the Vodka House Party dates in your diary.
Thursdays see the launch of a new night My Sal Soul with 101 FM radio star Deli-G and the Original Dance from the 70s and 80s while Fridays are all set for CRAZYSEXCOOL hosted by star DJs between 5pm and 8pm, where there will be two for one Vodka Festival cocktails, free chicken wings and massive discounts on champagne and pitchers.
Saturdays see the return of Fresh City with two rooms of music - funky house and sexy RNB.
Special guests include Brenda Bass, Jay Vivet, Miss Divine, Steve Bell and Jack N Daniels.
And why not start your week by slipping into Revolution's new Soulful Sundays and the return of The Secret Garden with DJ Ash R&B and Matt Kirk, Old Skool Classics. It's all at the Revolution. So, let rise up and do it!
