RHYS Williams doesn't have fond memories of Murrayfield.
His record stands at played two, won none. But the mercurial Cardiff Blue is determined for that to change on Sunday.
He said: "There is an expectation among the players and an expectation among the fans and Scotland will be a very tough game.
"I've played up there twice and have drawn one and lost one so I'm still waiting for my first win."
Williams is a something of a surprise inclusion in the side as coach Mike Ruddock has given him the nod ahead of Newport Gwent Dragons Hal Luscombe.
And he is determined to make his mark at the weekend having missed out on the wins against England and Italy.
He said: "There is definitely pressure on me in this game. It is a big chance for me but that is good for the squad and good for Welsh rugby.
"I spoke to Scott Johnson quite a lot while I wasn't in the team and we discussed what I needed to work on and I have and now I'm in and I'm looking forward to the game.
"Playing for Wales is something I will never take for granted and it is great now to be part of this set-up because everyone gets on and the team is starting to come through the hard times.
He added: "When we played England a big part of me wanted to be on the pitch at the time and I wasn't and that hurt and you can store that emotion and frustration for another time. "It is human nature that if you have been involved for a few years and then you beat England and you are not involved it hurts."
Williams will be up against Scottish bruising winger Sean Lamont.
But despite their difference in size Williams is confident he can cope with the defensive challenge.
He said: " I'm up against Lamont, he is a big guy and a strong winger but I have every confidence is my defence and our defence.
"I've always had people talk about my defence, It has stayed with me ever since I first became involved at this level it is up to me work hard and show people that defence is not a weakness in my game."
