WOOLIES manager Chris Bridgeman is off to Cape Town, South Africa, after achieving record sales figures.
He and his wife Diane will leave for a week's holiday on March 15.
The prize was awarded after the store in General Rees Square, Cwmbran, recorded the best sales figures for its size among all the Woolworths branches in Wales and the South West.
Assistant manager Debbie Nurse was awarded a trip to Cyprus, although she has passed this on to team leader Claire Johnstone.
Mr Bridgeman said: "We are all delighted with the success our team has achieved.
"The store was also awarded 1,000 to spend on a celebration for the entire workforce."
He believes the success was achieved as a result everyone pulling together.
