A VILLAGE gymnastics club in Gwent is basking in glory after scoring some major success at a national competition.
Members of the Caldicot Gymnastics Club entered the Welsh Schools Sports Acrobatics Championship at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff earlier this month and won the pairs and group categories in both the under 19s and under 11 age groups.
The gymnasts, who represented Caldicot Comprehensive School and Durrand Primary School, will now compete for Wales at the British championships.
There was also many second, third and fourth placings for members of the club.
Eileen Bud, coaching director at the Caldicot Gymnastics club, said: "It was an enormous success and I'm very proud of them all."
