TO keep your car running smoothly and safely, the new Volvo 'Check It Kit' provides the necessary essentials to check tyre depth and top-up engine oil, and conveniently comes in one neat pack that can be kept in the car at all times. The Volvo Check It Kit includes: A litre of oil, disposable gloves, dipstick wipes, oil funnels, scented hand wipes, tyre depth gauge.

There are three different types of lubricants available with the Volvo Check It Kit, the fully synthetic Castrol SLX and Castrol R-Tec, plus a semi-synthetic Castrol GTX Magnatec, which cost from £9.71, £11.06 and £8.10 respectively. To keep it handy in the car, the Check It Kit comes in a padded, zipped bag with velcro strips so it can be attached to the boot lining.

It also contains a leaflet with essential environmental information relating to lubricants and tyres, plus tips on both checking and topping-up oil levels and checking tyres, if required. Volvo also provides the added convenience of refill kits, containing the full contents of the Check It Kit, including a replacement litre of the appropriate lubricant.
