MEALS-ON-WHEELSs services in other parts of Gwent are safe for the foreseeable future.
Councillor John Hopkins, leader of Blaenau Gwent council, said their service would be continuing. "We run an efficient and effective service, much appreciated by the clients."
In Caerphilly, council leader Councillor Harry Andrews said: "The council has provided a meals-on-wheels service for many years. It has proved successful and I would like to think it will continue for as long as possible."
A spokeswoman for Monmouthshire council said last year the authority had invested in meals and wheels and revamped the service. There were no plans to make any changes to it.
