JOSIE D'Arby has enjoyed a career that has taken her from presenting Top of the Pops to Look Around You, the BBC's new Tomorrow's World comedy spoof.
Hailing from Lliswerry in Newport, Josie is now hoping to use her talents to make a name for herself in the music world.
Currently spending her time between London and Paris, she is working on an album.
She said: "My partner lives in Paris so I spend a lot of time there now.
"In fact we have just started making an album together so I am there more than ever.
"He writes the music and I write the lyrics so we are as committed to that as we are to each other."
Despite a busy schedule, Josie spent last month working as an official ambassador for the British Red Cross.
"In January I was received as an official ambassador for the British Red Cross with Dougray Scott and Lawrence Dallaglio. I've been to South Africa and Cambodia to see the work that it does.
"I also work for a charity called SURF which helps people who've survived the Rwandan genocide."
Josie also presented the tsunami relief concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium which featured stars like the Manic Street Preachers, Katherine Jenkins and Eric Clapton.
"The pictures of the devastation caused by the Asian tsunami horrified me, but it was the pictures of the personal and human destruction that most disturbed me."
