THE owners of what will be a new nursery in Chepstow are appealing to local residents to help them find out more about the history of their building.
Sunnybank Nursery, which will be based at Regent House, near Somerfield in Chepstow, used to be the old workhouse but the new owners want to discover as much as they can about the building's past.
June Owen, one of the owners, said: "We want to find out more about the building's history.
"We know it was a workhouse, school and infirmary and we were just hoping to find out a little bit more because it is such an interesting building."
The nursery is set to open in seven weeks for children aged between three months and three. Old memories and old photographs of the building are wanted.
