Newport rockers The Henrees raised the roof of the Riverfront last night and are back in Newport in two months' time.
The four-piece band, who have been a bit quiet of late, are back in business with new music and a new place in cyberspace.
www.henrees.com is up and running. It's very slick and packed full of info on the band and its members.
There's also a chatroom/ forum which is proving a popular focus of Newport's blues/rock music scene.
The Henrees have been nominated for the National Student Music Awards after a panel of representatives of Radio One Music, AIM, the BPI, MU and Abbey Road Studios and American Blood Recordings voted for them.
A second round of judging is done by the public, and you can add your vote at www.nsma.com.
You can also vote by texting "nsma thehenrees" to 83200.
The final winners of the awards get a bumper recording package, and a slot on CD:UK, so the band would be delighted if you did.
The band is currently on tour and can be found at Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff, on Thursday, March 10 (call 0870 040 6565 for tickets), Newport Indoor Market, on Saturday, April 2, The Tollhouse Bridge on Thursday, April 14, the Riverside Suite, Newport Centre, on Saturday, April 16, plus a show in Nottingham.
