CARDIFF plays host to a major horticultural show this spring when the Royal Horticultural Society teams up with the council to stage the RHS Spring Flower Show, Cardiff, in the splendid setting of Bute Park.
Prime Time has teamed up with the organisers to offer five pairs of tickets to the show in our RHS competition.
The show takes place over three days April 22-24, and is one of the key features of the city's centenary and golden anniversary celebrations. It promises to be a fun and inspiring show for all those with a passion for plants and gardening, featuring many of the medal-winners from RHS flower shows at Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace.
All nursery exhibits will be judged for coveted RHS medals, plants will be on sale and a team of RHS advisers and botanists will be on hand to answer visitors' questions.
Other horticultural highlights will include garden features designed by select horticultural colleges and garden centres, and there will be stands selling horticultural sundries, such as garden furniture, tools and pots, a programme of musical and walkabout entertainment, a programme of related talks, and an Experience Wales marquee.
