DETECTIVES are investigating a second night-time jewellery raid at a Gwent Argos store.
Thieves struck again at Argos in Lion's Walk, Abergavenny, and stole goods worth thousands of pounds - just three months after the last burglary on November 23 in which £14,188 worth of jewellery was stolen.
Police say the raiders forced their way into the store just before 11pm on Wednesday and stole an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said: "The store had been entered and the storeroom attacked and jewellery taken. We are presuming the people who did this had a vehicle and we would ask anyone who saw anything to contact us on 01633 838111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
