THE celebrated virtuoso partnership Maire Ni Chathasaigh (pronounced Moira Nee Ha Ha Sig), one of the most influential Irish harpists around, and Chris Newman, one of the UK's most eminent acoustic guitarists, visit Abergavenny's Borough Theatre next week.
The duo have played in 21 different countries - from the Shetland Islands to New Zealand, from San Francisco to Calabria - and have given TV and radio performances on five continents.
To experience their fusion of traditional Irish and Scottish music, hot jazz, bluegrass and baroque, make sure you book your tickets for the performance on Saturday, February 26, at 8pm.
Tickets are priced between £6 and £8 and are available from the box office on 01873 850805.
