KIA will unveil its all-new Sedona MPV at the Chicago Auto Show on February 10 and the first design sketch of the new vehicle is released today. Although the vehicle shown in Chicago will be a special long-wheelbase version purely for the North American market, the new Sedona will come to Europe in 2006.
Full details of the Europe-bound version - the UK's best-selling large MPV in the retail market - are not yet being released, but the new Sedona will provide even better interior space and an improved specification including a fold-flat third row of seats.
It will also benefit improved powerplants and transmission plus an all-new body and under-pinnings that will provide even better ride and handling than the current model. Kia Motors (UK) Limited Managing Director Paul Williams said: "Although the new Sedona is not coming to the UK for another year yet, this sketch - and the North American model - show just how Kia design is continuing to move forward dynamically to provide motorists with ever-more modern vehicles featuring Kia's dedication to impressive specifications and excellent value for the vast majority of family motorists."
