VANDALS have subjected a Newport school to several "mindless" attacks - smashing around 70 windows.
Now police are appealing for anyone with information about the vandalism to come forward.
Over the past four weeks, in several seperate incidents, Gaer Junior School has had between 60 and 70 of its windows smashed.
PC Richard Oakerbee told the Argus the attacks normally take place on Friday and Saturday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.
He said: "This is deliberate, wanton damage. It's a case of mindless vandalism.
"We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has any information about the attacks to come forward and contact us on 01633 244999."
