IF THE FESTIVE season has drained you of most of your savings, but you're still hopeful of kicking off 2005 in style with a brand new, stylish set of wheels to replace your ageing family car, then Renault might just have the answer to your prayers with the launch of a revised range of Megane and Scenic 'Rush' models, with prices starting at just £9,995, including a special customer saving offer.

Renault has long been synonymous with good value for money, and the launch of the first Megane and Scenic Rush special editions back in autumn of last year certainly continued that tradition. Since the order book opened in July, over 2,600 have been sold, so to build on this overwhelming success, Renault have added two new engine options, plus, for the first time, seven-seater Grand Scenic is available as a Rush model for buyers seeking even more versatility for their money.

There will be eight Rush versions in all, with the main change being the introduction of the 1.4 16V 98 petrol and 1.5 dCi 80 engine for the Scenic range, leaving the 1.6 VVT 115 petrol and 1.5 dCi 100 as the sole reserve of the Grand Scenic. Based on the Authentique models, the revised Rush range still offers a high level of equipment as before, including ABS with brake assist, at least six airbags and electric front windows.
