EMPLOYERS are already queuing up to take advantage of the ideal recruitment event - this year's Job Scene The Roadshow, which returns to Newport this spring.
It is presented by the South Wales Argus, and a wide range of companies are taking part in the annual roadshow at Newport Centre on March 17.
Details of the event come as employers in the UK are expressing their strongest new year hiring intentions since records began, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
Mark Cahill, managing director at Manpower, stated: "The fact that UK employers are reporting their highest new year levels of confidence since 1998 is great news. These figures are extremely positive."
The research shows that a positive job market is expected for Wales in 2005 as 18% of employers interviewed plan to hire.
Mr Cahill added: "With low levels of unemployment, it is very much a jobseekers' market and the opportunity is there for candidates to develop their skills.
"Employers need to continue to review recruitment procedures and benefits packages in order to attract the best candidates."
Exhibitions are a great form of communicating to a target audience. Job Scene exhibitions, organised by TJW - the largest series of recruitment, career, education and training events in the UK - guarantee an interactive atmosphere.
Exhibitors taking part include British Gas, Environment Agency Wales, Gwent Police, Jobcentre Plus, local councils, Nursing and Midwifery Southampton, Office for National Statistics, Remploy Interwork, South Wales Argus, The Celtic Manor Resort, and many more.
