TONY Robinson first sprang to prominence in the 1980s as Rowan Atkinson's loyal servant and sidekick Baldrick in the BBC's cult Blackadder series where his catchphrase, "I have a cunning plan" entered the national consciousness.
Now after being subjected to years of humiliation, (usually on the wrong end of Atkinson's boot), Tony Robinson is back in his aptly-named Cunning Night Out tour.
He visits Newport's Riverfront Theatre on Thursday, January 27, at 8pm. The talented comedian's one man and autobiographical show is told at breakneck speed and said to make you laugh, cry, sing along and retch. You have been warned.
Tickets, priced between £12 and £15, are available from the box office on 01633 656757.
