NEW Welsh music sensation Loguey plays Cardiff Barfly next week. Loguey is many things to many people; from singer/songwriter to sonic groove merchant.
A good singer, composer and musician, Loguey released Look At You on DepCult recordings last month to much acclaim.
The EP boasts a dynamic fusion of dance grooves and classic guitar hooks making for an original electro-indie experience.
The song Look At You is reminiscent of 90s psychedelic merchants Levitation on their magnum opus, Need For Not.
On drums is ex-Manchild sticksmith Elliott Bennett who will also be at the gig next week.
Loguey is 27 years old, the son of a military family which brought him to South Wales aged seven.
He went to Cardiff High School and then studied Music Technology at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Find Loguey with support acts Jonah, Where's Finley?, and QI in Barfly, Cardiff on Monday, January 17 from 7.30pm. For more info surf to www.depcultrecordings.com at which you can also order a copy of the EP.
