INDIE upstarts The Open have reached that stage in their fledgling careers at which they re-release their self-made debut single on a record label.
Never Enough was released on Loog Records on Monday, November 1. It was first released in October 2003 when it was limited to 750 copies. The new version is being put out to stop fans buying originals, they say, although when Mono checked there were 12ins. copies on sale at £7.50 on eBay.
In between the two releases the band put out its debut album, The Silent Hours, which is full of similar indie-rock songs. This month The Open continue their UK tour and call on Swansea University on Friday, November 12.
