ONE of the most exciting and innovative bands coming to South Wales this month is The Upper Room.
The band supports Hope of the States in Swansea union next Friday, November 12, and The Mooney Suzuki in Cardiff's Barfly on Saturday, November 27.
They're like early 90s Morrissey rubbed up against The Strokes, making for emotive and cool stuff.
They hold powerful passions in very English reserve, expressed through soaring choruses and autumnal melancholy.
The band have released two limited edition singles Back and White and All Over This Town.
They are Alex Miller (vox and guitar), James Pattinson (guitar), Beau Barnard (bass), and Jon Barnett (drums).
