RAY Clemence, one of England's greatest ever goalkeepers, has put his motoring needs in a safe pair of hands after taking delivery of a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe. As England goalkeeping coach, Ray will drive the Santa Fe 2.7 V6 CDX for 12 months to and from all his England coaching sessions, public appearances and charity work.

Hyundai was delighted to loan the vehicle to Ray, as a global sponsor of major football tournaments including the recent UEFA Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal and forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. The Santa Fe is one of Hyundai's best selling models. The range starts at £15,995 for the 2.4 GSI, rising to £17,995 for the 2.7 V6 CDX. Once his playing career was over, Ray became England goalkeeping coach. He also is a patron for the SPARKS charity.

SPARKS (SPort Aiding medical Research for KidS) is devoted to the promotion, encouragement, maintenance, improvement and advancement of medical research to help prevent and alleviate suffering in children during the early years of life by funding research into childhood disabilities.

Ray collected his Santa Fe from Hyundai dealer Charvilles in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire - and is delighted with the car. He said: "The Santa Fe is great; it's rugged, good looking and very comfortable - and can handle anything I throw at it!"
