POLICE are looking for the arson attackers who destroyed a £6,000 kebab van in Cwmbran.
The van, which had been operating opposite Kwik Save off Court Road, Cwmbran for six months, was burnt out in the early hours of Monday morning.
Mustafa Karaoz, 31, was the owner and operator of the van. He said: "I started business here about six months ago and it was very good.
"I'm not giving up. I will be down there again in the same spot with a new van this week and I'll be making even more this time."
PC Darrell Dewar, crime and disorder reduction officer for Cwmbran, said: "We received a call in the early hours of Monday of a van on fire at the Court Farm Industrial Estate.
"It appears that someone had broken into the back of the van and taken a few bottles of Coke before the fire began. It is being treated as suspicious and we are keeping an open mind as to the possible culprits at the moment."
Anyone who has any information about the incident should contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111.
