RUGBY fans can get the Newport Gwent Dragons all year round when the team's first calendar goes on sale next month.
Ten of the regional side's top players took a break from their training for a photo-shoot along with cheerleaders from the South Wales Zero One model agency who got together earlier this year.
The calendar will be the first of its kind for the team and a donation from the proceeds of the calendar is to go to our Sparkle Appeal.
We launched the Sparkle Appeal last December with the aim of raising £250,000 towards a £6 million children's centre to be built at High Cross to help 1,200 disabled children across Newport, Torfaen and south Monmouthshire.
Jason Forster, Kevin Morgan, Ceri Sweeney, Gareth Cooper, Ian Gough, Hal Luscombe, Rod Snow, Nathan Brew, Michael Owen and Percy Montgomery are players set to appear in the calendar but which month they appear is still to be decided.
The calendar will be made up of some posed shots of one or two players and some action shots of the players.
Ceri Sweeney said: "I haven't told anybody about the calendar yet but it is a bit of fun for the supporters."
Kevin Morgan said the calendar could be a nice Christmas present for fans but he wouldn't be buying any.
He said: "I'll see how it works out before buying any but it's been fun."
Zero One Studios is organising the calendar and it hopes it will be popular with all the fans - women, men, families and children.
The calendar costs £7.99 and will be on sale from November 3 at Rodney Parade.
