YOUR move - that is the theme of this year's One World Week, which got off to an exotic start in Newport city centre on the weekend.
To launch the campaign, which aims to being people together to raise awareness of global issues, there was entertainment such as belly dancing, as well as a number of stalls in John Frost Square.
A number of organisations who work for a better world took part on Saturday, and a programme of events is set for the coming weeks, including talks, exhibitions and a "community feast" at Holy Trinity Church on October 30.
People of all ages and backgrounds in Newport and other parts of Gwent are involved in One World Week, which is a national and international initiative.
