ELEVEN Gwent schoolchildren are hoping to bring Wales' footballing heroes a little bit of extra luck tomorrow as the team's official mascots.
The pupils from three Torfaen schools have been chosen to lead out the team at Old Trafford ahead of the epic England-Wales clash.
They were chosen by the Welsh Football Supporters Association charity Gl!, who will make a £500 donation to the leukaemia ward at Manchester Children's Hospital tomorrow.
The children are pupils from St Peter's Church in Wales Primary and Hillside Primary in Blaenavon, and from Abersychan Comprehensive. And the children were all excited about the big occasion - even meeting Wales' opponents, the England players.
Dionne Thomas, aged ten, of Blaenavon, said: "It was a nice surprise when we found out we would be at the game.
"I'm going to get Giggs' autograph, but Robert Earnshaw is my favourite - I like him when he does his somersault.
"I do want to meet David Beckham as well but I won't say anything to him, I'll just laugh because I'm nervous.
"I think Wales will win the game 3-2 with goals from Earnshaw." Oliver Chatfield, 11, of Garndiffaith, said: "When I found out about it I was jumping up and down. I'm excited about going out on the pitch and about meeting all the players.
"I think the score will be 2-1 but I don't know who to." And Ashley Richards, 11, of Garndiffaith, said: "When I found out we'd been picked I thought they'd made a mistake. I couldn't believe it. "I'm most keen to meet Ryan Giggs and David Beckham, but all the players are good.
"I don't know if Wales can win. I think it'll be a draw." Eight-year-old Bethan Williams, of Blaenavon, said: "I'm looking forward to meeting Giggs because he's my favourite, but I'm worried about the crowds.
"I think Wales will win, but if they don't it will still be a good day for us."
