CHRYSLER Group UK is launching a host of Startech performance accessories for its Crossfire range - and testing a prototype of a 3.8-litre engine produced by Startech in Germany. For Crossfire enthusiasts driving the standard 3.2 V6, a range of Startech accessories for both the Roadster and Coupe will be available in Chrysler dealers in the UK from mid-October.
The Startech Crossfire accessories line-up includes aerodynamic front chin spoiler, chrome mirror covers, chrome grille and chrome side vent fins, custom multi-piece Startech Monostar light-allow wheels and Startech stainless-steel sport exhaust systems. Lift on the rear axle is minimised by the Startech diffuser inserts for the stock rear bumper and the Startech rear spoiler, which deploys together with the stock rear spoiler.
The prototype Crossfire 3.8S features a 300 bhp 3.8-litre V6 engine, boasting 395 Nm of torque at 3800 rpm and capable of 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
