PEOPLE will be tickled pink when they see bichon frise Elli Mae being taken for a walk this autumn.
With her colourful new coat, she will be escorted by her owner Liz Thomas, of Cwmbran, at the South Wales Stride for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Great grandmother Mrs Thomas, 68, spends a lot of time walking in and around her home town with her puppy
She was looking forward to travelling to Margam Park to dog walk with a difference and help raise funds for research into breast cancer after the disease struck members of her family.
"There aren't many events where you, your family and your pet can get involved so when I found out that the event was open to everyone I was really pleased.
"I hope that the people of South Wales will get behind the event and help to raise money for such a worthy cause.
"My daughter Karen will be joining me so it will be a lovely family day out."
The South Wales Stride for Life takes place at Margam Country Park in Port Talbot on October 24.
It is hoped the event will raise more than £20,000.
