PLAYERS at Scunthorpe United are showing they are as tough at the back as they are up front as the club becomes the first English league team to take advantage of new FA kit sponsorship rules.

Currently riding high in the Coca-Cola League 2, United has joined forces with Jeep to become the first league team to take the opportunity by new FA regulations which allow team strips to feature sponsorship logos on the back of shorts in addition to the front of shirts.

United have had a positive start to the season, having scored 13 goals in six games to put them at the top of League 2, and Jeep was keen to enhance its on-going relationship with the club. This new sponsorship opportunity sees the Jeep logo featured on the rear of players' shorts.
