THE traffic jams that plagued the event Monday morning were tamed by police yesterday.
Officers at the Tredegar roundabout off junction 28 of the M4 kept traffic flowing and queues into the car parks were much shorter.
Sergeant Steve Keenan said: "It helped that there wasn't an accident on the motorway this morning. The timing of the lights at the roundabout was not ideal so we replaced them with officers."
He said the sale of alcohol for the first time on the site had caused no problems.
Rather, the biggest issue was lost property. He said: "People have been very honest and helpful about ensuring lost items get to the police."
Among the usual wallets, watches and handbags, one festival goer reported a missing Tamagotchi pet.
