CNC Properties' Clarence House in Newport is 90 per cent let. The 10-storey, 80,000sqft property has secured five significant lettings recently.
These include Blackhorse, a subsidiary of Lloyds TSB, the Charity Commission and Driving Test Centre. The lettings total around 10,000sqft and will generate an income of £106,000 per annum.
The building is managed on behalf of CNC Properties by Collins Stewart Property Fund Management.
Fronting the River Usk, the city centre site has the advantage of an integral, multi-storey car park.
An upgrading included new air conditioning, new heating and carpeting. A new reception hall will be completed next month.
Justin Kingdon, Collins Stewart's manager for Wales said: "We are delighted with the ongoing popularity of Clarence House among national and local companies. Long may it continue."
Collins Stewart and Newport's Hutchings & Thomas represented CNC Properties during the letting negotiations.
