GWENT followers of fashion can enjoy a special Sparkle Fashion Show this week.
The show will feature some of our Sparkle children who helped to make and design many of the costumes and scenery for the show at special workshops held throughout the school holidays.
We launched our Sparkle Appeal last December with the aim of raising £250,000 towards a £6 million children's centre to be built at High Cross to help 1,200 disabled from Newport, Torfaen and south Monmouthshire.
The show will include clothes made by children covering two seasons and clothes from Marks and Spencer and La Vinda Bridal Shop, Newport. Children will be modelling the clothes and a samba band will accompany them as they walk down the catwalk.
The show will be held on Friday, September 10, at 7pm, at Nash College, Newport.
Tickets cost £3. For more information contact the Sparkle office on 01633 656212.
