THOUSANDS of people descended on a Gwent town this weekend for one of the country's fastest-growing music festivals.
The streets of Pontypool were transformed into a music lovers' paradise, with more than 60 bands and singers performing in venues across the town.
And organisers say this year's event was bigger than ever, with the fine weather helping to pull in the crowds.
Now in its fifth year, Jazz in the Park has become one of Wales' top musical events - attracting more than 14,000 people and international acclaim.
For the first time festival-goers could even pitch a tent at the New Panteg Rugby Club and camp out for the true festival experience.
