Clubbing in Cardiff

- The Cardiff club scene is vibrant and varied...

There are huge populist mainstream clubs where thousands of revellers stay until as late (or should that be as early?) as 6am.

At smaller, cult venues you'll hear big-name DJs alongside eccentric homegrown talent. Cardiff doesn't follow the fickle tide of club fashion. It's not afraid to take the lead at the cutting edge of club culture. Thanks to a combination of local talent, progressive licensing and pragmatic policing, Cardiff's clubs shine brightly in the city's night sky.

With the popular venues of Bar Fly, Toucan, Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff University Students Union and the Coal Exchange presenting the best local and national bands of the moment.
