ASPIRING Welsh punk band Sammo Hung have finished their new single, I Love The Leader.
It's due to be released on No Danger Recordings soon and will be their first release since their quirky debut album.
It's been remixed by Charlie Francis who has been producing all the band's new material. The B side is made up of two tracks recorded for Adam Walton's show on BBC Radio Wales. The first is In A Fit of Something, a version of which appeared on Sammo Hung's debut album Stand Up And Swear. The other is Bat Squeaks, which you'll have only heard before if you've seen them live.
It's the last thing they recorded with band member Iestyn before he left, so it's being released to say goodbye.
Next, Sammo Hung release a brand spanking new double-a-side single Russian Owls/Running With Knives which is ready to go. Frontwoman Jemma is in the middle of doodling the artwork.
