Goldie Lookin' Chain release their first single proper a week on Monday and the temperature is rising.
Half Man/Half Machine was just a local affair but Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do is the real deal.
It's out on Atlantic on Monday, August 16, and will be the Newport band's last release before their album, Goldie Lookin' Chain Greatest Hits on Monday, September 16.
The video is playing on the Box, MTV2, the Hits, Kerrang TV, The Amp and MTV UK.
Hopefully, the message 'the gun is the tool, the mind is the weapon' will get through and reduce the carnage on the streets.
GLC are using 70s cop horns, classic rap track guitars and their dopey Port voices to spread a message of peace.
And if that wasn't enough, the B side is a health message about poor quality cannabis resin known as Soap Bar.
The second B side, Maggot Stand Up, however, is less well meaning and is made of a snippet of the stand-up comedy courtesy of GLC rapper Maggot.
In it he mentions a friend who was in the TA who for a laugh liked to blow up sheep with a mortar for £5 a time.
GLC played Bristol's Canon Marsh Amphitheatre supporting Basement Jaxx this week, and can be found at the Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
After that they hit the road on their first headline tour which starts on Saturday, October 2 in Cardiff University.
They're back in Wales in Bangor University on Wednesday, October 13, play Bristol Academy on Tuesday, October 19 and finish in the Astoria, London on Friday, October 22.
