Super Furry Animals surrender to the man this autumn when they release a 'best of' album and DVD.
Songbook - The Singles Volume One will be released through Sony on Monday, October 4.
It contains 21 tracks, including a staggering 17 UK Top 40 hits and a limited edition version will have exclusive artwork.
There will also be a DVD featuring all the group's videos to date as well as a previously unseen 40-minute on-the-road rockumentary.
The band will precede the compilation by releasing a 20-minute live version of their classic The Man Really Doesn't Care One Jot on Monday, September 20.
It was recorded at London Hammersmith Apollo on the band's last UK tour.
The song is about the epic endeavours of Britain's favourite drug dealer Howard Marks.
Super Furry Animals will also mark the release of their greatest hits with a one-off London event called Lightening Fryday.
It will take place on Friday, October 1, at London's Royal Festival Hall and is being pushed as one of the band's most ambitious live events yet.
The Furries will take over the venue for the evening with a live performance, SFA activities and special guests in several rooms, extending beyond the RFH boundaries to nearby landmarks.
Reappearances from some of the band's old acquaintances are rumoured.
The full track listing of the Singles Volume One is: Something 4 The Weekend, It's Not The End Of The World?, Northern Lites, Juxtapozed With U, Slow Life, Fire In My Heart, The Man Really Doesn't Care One Jot, Hermann Loves Pauline, Play It Cool, Ice Hockey Hair, Do Or Die, (Drawing) Rings Around The World, God!
