A booklet providing vital information for commercial workplaces and food businesses in Pembrokeshire is being launched at the County Show.
The Pembrokeshire Food and Safety Trainers Forum brochure is an easy-to-use directory containing contact details and information on a range of food hygiene and health and safety training courses available to businesses within the county.
The forum was established in 2002, as a partnership between eight local training providers and Pembrokeshire County Council's food and health and safety enforcement section.
It aims to ensure that relevant training needs within the county are met, to secure sources of funding to enable courses to be offered at affordable prices.
Another objective is to keep training providers abreast of changes in legislation, guidance and enforcement practices, so that training is relevant, accurate and in line with local enforcement priorities.
Said forum secretary, Helen Muskett: "It is an essential booklet for all commercial food businesses and work places that seek to ensure their staff receive the training required to conduct their jobs in a safe and legally compliant manner."
The training brochure is being launched at the show on Wednesday in the Learning Zone tent at 10am.
l The brochure will be available at the show, or by contacting the county council's food and safety team on 01437 775631.
