NUMBER crunchers Broomfield & Alexander would like to remind everyone that "there are only two things you can be certain of in life: death and taxes".
And on that happy note, the accountancy practice has expanded its tax team with the addition of Deborah Worsfold and Christine Regan. They will be responsible for all aspects of tax advice and planning for the company's clients.
Ms Worsfold is a qualified chartered accountant and has joined the corporate tax team from a large practice on the other side of the bridge.
She said: "The move to Broomfield & Alexander is a good one for my career: business taxation is a complex area and can make a large impact on clients' bottom lines."
Ms Regan, a qualified tax adviser, has come from a national practice in Cardiff and will join the personal tax team.
She said: "Broomfield & Alexander has an excellent reputation locally and I'm delighted to be joining the tax team.
"I will be helping our clients to manage their personal wealth and minimise their personal tax burdens."
Associate director Steve Screech said "I'm delighted with these appointments. We have seen our tax team grow by over 20% in the last year."
