HARLEY-DAVIDSON introduces three new models for 2005. Eleven new colour options and improved headlight technology are among significant product enhancements offered for the Motor Company's 2005 model year.

"This is an exciting model year," said Patrice Morin, marketing manager for Harley-Davidson UK. "With three new models and a host of updates, Harley-Davidson's 2005 models will demonstrate the company's continued leadership in factory custom styling." The soul of Harley-Davidson runs deeper than paint and chrome and every 2005 model carries that unique strain of motorcycle DNA that's unmistakably Harley-Davidson. It's a look and sound and just-right feeling that simply can't be duplicated.

Two bold new Softail models bolster Harley-Davidson's leadership position in the execution of custom styling. The FLSTNI Softail Deluxe and FLSTSCI Springer Classic both incorporate a host of nostalgic styling cues that blend seamlessly with the acclaimed performance and comfort of the Harley-Davidson Softail platform.

The Dyna Glide family changes with the introduction of the sparkling new FXDCI Super Glide Custom as the entry-level 1450cc Big Twin Harley-Davidson, replacing the FXDI Dyna Super Glide, retaining great value for money with enhanced chrome styling. All 2005 Sportster models have a new, stiffer swingarm and larger diameter rear axle for improved handling.
