JAPANESE compact vehicle specialist Daihatsu is offering its new Extol microvan with f-f-free air-conditioning, worth £795, throughout the summer.
The Extol, which is available for just £6,995 (excluding VAT) is the only model in the microvan sector to offer air-conditioning as an option, making it the coolest van in its class. The offer is open until September 30.
Product marketing manager, Peter Jessop, said: "Microvans, such as our Extol and the multi-award winning Hijet it replaces, are the choice of van for numerous delivery orientated businesses, such as florists and bakers, as well as independent tradesmen and traders.
"By adding air-conditioning to their Extol, these uses can ensure they keep cool throughout the day, helping them to arrive at every destination feeling fresh, smart and ready for action."
As well as boasting the unique option of air-conditioning, the Extol has a comfortable car-like cab complete with a CD-player. Its 1.3-litre petrol engine, meanwhile, enables smooth, swift and economical progress even with a full payload of up to 615kgs.
