YAMAHA has announced free Third Party, Fire and Theft insurance on three of its top selling 600cc models. The offer is available on the cutting-edge, supersports R6, plus the latest Yamaha all-rounders, the FZ6 Fazer and the un-faired FZ6 model.

Available at all Yamaha dealers, through Yamaha Insurance Services (YIS), the offer is subject to the age and status of the rider and is open for a limited period only, so if you're thinking of buying a new Yamaha, buy it now and take advantage of this great deal. The R6 is a motorcycle that combines the lowest possible weight with very impressive power, to provide a no-compromise, supersports machine. This is ultimate performance with total control and its cutting edge styling means it looks as good as it goes. The FZ6 and its streamlined stablemate, the FZ6 Fazer, are easy to ride streetbikes that combine supersports technology with total versatility.

The fuel-injected power plant comes straight from the awesome R6, and is re-tuned to give it a slightly more user-friendly power delivery. Two smooth all-rounders is the result and with ultra sharp styling, including underseat stainless steel exhausts, street cred is built-in as standard. These two will appeal to experts just as much as to new riders. Although free insurance is not on offer to riders aged 24 or under, customers should still be eligible for a heavily subsidised premium on any of the three bikes - call YIS for a quotation.

If you are 25 or over then you get free Third Party, Fire and Theft insurance on the FZ6 and FZ6 Fazer. Buyers of FZ6 and FZ6 Fazer, need to have a full Category A licence, but it does mean that even if you've only just passed your test you could still qualify for this fantastic insurance deal.

You need to be 35 or over to qualify for free TPFT insurance on the R6, but considering the potential savings to be made that is still an incredibly good deal. Customers may also upgrade to Fully Comprehensive insurance, while still benefiting from the significant subsidy on the rates, so it's worth checking this out too before you decide on what level of cover to go for.

The age restrictions and other common sense criteria set by the insurers, is reasonable when you consider the savings to be made on these three great bikes. You'll also need to have a 'normal' occupation, so astronauts need not apply!
