THE JACKDAWS

With their mix of Celtic, blues, rock and folk this Caerphilly based band never fails to surprise, utilising a range of instruments from penny whistles to mandolin and harmonica.

THE NOISE

The Noise have been compared to Busted due to their pop-rock style. They are a 5 piece band from Newport, and until recently went under the name of Noisecandy.

IAN CALFORD

Ian Calford is the frontman for the Railmen who also appear at this year's Big Cheese festival. His father, Cal Ford, was known throughout the valleys as the Welsh Johnny Cash.

HERE BE DRAGONS

Here Be Dragons play wild Celtic Music from Wales. They are the life of the festival and have had crowds dancing and partying at festivals and venues across Europe and in the USA.

AMANDA ELLIS STREET DANCERS

This year sees the debut of the Cwmbran based Amanda Ellis Street Dancers whose amazing costumes and well choreographed routine set to the music of pop classics is marvellous to watch.

CELTIC SPIRIT

Celtic Spirit are a six piece Folk/Rock band from Aberdare. Their music includes traditional Welsh, Irish, Scottish songs as well as their own material.

LOVING CUP

The Loving Cup was founded upon the idea of creating uplifting and honest melody-based music, a unique blend of modern blues based country-rock.

INDY 900

Caerphilly based indie rock band whose punchy music betrays influences from the Stones through TRex and Green Day to Ash.

PAT GROVER'S BLUE ZEROS

The Blue Zeros play undiluted blues, drawing on the best traditions of Chicago, Texas and elsewhere, with a refreshing subtlety and a rare sense of dynamics.

ARAB DANCE

Jawahir Middle Eastern Dance Club perform all styles of Middle Eastern dance from Egyptian to Turkish via pop fusion. Their specialities are BellyBolly and folk styles.
