THE 'oh so quiet' sound of Kathryn Williams can be heard in the Fleece and Firkin, Bristol, late this month.
Kathryn is pushing her latest album and single with a six date tour which takes in Bristol on Monday, July 19.
Her album, Relations, was recently released, from which she's drawn In A Broken Dream as a download single from that Monday.
A folky at heart, Kathryn was nominated for the Mercury Music Award a few years back which now allows her to charge £12.50 a head! She's joined by a five-piece band who play most beautifully on the single and album which is a mix of cover versions.
It's a fine collective of interpretations of classic well-known tracks and some lesser-known gems by the likes of Jackson Browne, Nirvana and Neil Young.
