TWO Cwmbran men were due to appear before Bristol crown court today charged with the murder of their housemate.
John Wardle, 46, and John Storm, 38, both of Caradoc Road, Cwmbran, are charged with murdering Francis Weldon, 40, who was found dead at a quarry near Chepstow.
Mr Weldon, pictured here for the first time, moved to Cwmbran from his home in the east end of Greenock, near Glasgow, six years ago. Police were called to the quarry (pictured right) at Woodcroft, Tutshill, near Chepstow, last Wednesday.
After a search of the area Mr Weldon's body was found lying on a ledge 65 feet from the precipice of the overgrown and secluded spot.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died from multiple injuries.
