SUPPORTING the government drive and transport trend towards eco-friendlier vehicles, npower Juice will showcase the latest clean, green machine to benefit commuters at this year's Motor Show live at the NEC in Birmingham.
The Reva G-Wiz AEV (Automatic Electric Vehicle), available from GoinGreen, is the first mass produced commercially available electric car and it will be on display at the exhibition's npower Juice stand to highlight the energy provider's commitment to clean renewable electricity. The car provides an environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient and sustainable method of transport by running on electricity rather than petrol or diesel. G-Wiz, a two-door hatchback is 100% emission-free, is exempt from road tax, congestion charges, and takes six hours to fully charge from a standard three-point power socket.
Keith Johnston, GoinGreen managing director, said: "If G-Wiz owners buy npower Juice electricity for their homes it enables the G-Wiz car to become a completely non-polluting, sustainable form of transport. By taking responsibility for the environment and choosing more eco-friendly transport, drivers and home owners can reduce their carbon dioxide emissions to zero, help tackle the problem of global warming and save lots of money at the same time."
